I’m not sure I’m into the genre as much as I’m just into Dillon Francis productions. Ever since picking up his Westside EP nothing else on my playlist seemed to satisfy my ears like “Masta Blasta,” “Brazzer’s Theme,” “Que Que,” or his “Broken Hearts” remix.
I grew up listening to a lot of rap as a kid, mostly top40, nothing that would give me any cred. I feel like Dillon’s style fulfills that requirement for me right now, not that his stuff is rap or comercial sounding but it’s slow, bass and percussion heavy club music. I hear girls love to dance to it too which is always a plus.
